Never read Grim or have any idea what it is but Viz was std issue in my day!

Famous story writers like red riding hood its was horror stories toned down by Disney and the like should read some of there work the morals are far from what we understand growing up as kids  :cool:

Never mind parents. Well done you, those terrible books.  Reading, well that's for posh kidz innit?

Don't expose them to that sordid, racist prose.  Let you children be anodyne and vanilla flavoured.  Far be if for them to think for themselves and come to their own opinion.

You just keep them at home in front of the Xbox. Or better still, get them a copy of Mein Kampf.*

A very good book and well worth reading, not that the authors view point is that of my own but great to understand why and what happened in the last century.
How little we learn........

As for banning Mr Dahl, well as someone said it wont make much of a difference to today's kids who cant read or speak proper English.
Wise man's son and Wednesdays child view the world in red and green, they await the day that they die laughing thinking of the sights they have seen.....
