TBH Chris is spot on I had to wire a pair of real 12v to another golf it took me ten minutes the two relays can handle direct 12V to power up decent bulbs and still get the switching signal wire from the original loom. Very easy mod and much safer on the old headlights due to heat!
A bit of shrink wrap to make it clean job done!
