Notice all the people are round the GTI looking at it not the other cars

Lol, I noticed that, too. I bet Steve had to wait for hours to get that shot

Yeah, lived in London for a few years and can quite agree that at first it's jawdropping at the cars that drive around in some area.

I didn't bother with a nice motor when i lived there tho, as some of the drivers are shockingly bad
MK6 GTI, 3 door, candy white, 18" monza shadow, Xenons, RCD 510 w "dynaudio", sunroof, rear view camera, cruise control & free servicing.

Reactions in red ....

What really galls me is that they bump park, kerb their wheels and never consider that the parked cars in front or behind them might need to vacate their parking space and therefore would need some room to manoeuvre.

Rant over ...

It also looks like 9 out of 10 of you are unable to park properly   (jk)
I wouldnt park near the curb either..
It uses special Michelin PAX run flat tyres, designed specifically to accommodate the Veyron's top speed, which reportedly cost $25,000 US per set.[5] The tyres can only be removed from the rims in France, a service which reportedly costs $70,000

What an excellent and expensive whore of a car. Everytime you get inside it, it costs a fortune.

Hehe, what a coincidence  I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels sick. After an hour or so walking round, I did find myself feeling nauseous, but I put it down to the lunch I'd had. I guess I was wrong

I came across the Veyron and the Panamera being driven (badly)  down the A3 the other week. They turned off at the Oxshott exit, having sat in the outside lane all the way from the Hook underpass.

SteveP that aint a bad little street for spotting cars. And I now know what you meant when you said "I work in a corner shop in Knightsbridge" ha ha!

Just to put my two cents in, I work for an investment bank near St Pauls in London. And normally parked just outside my window is a Lambo, and in our under ground car park, the head of the Global Markets traders parks his Lambo LP640, or his Bently continental GT. On contrast to that the CEO (this guys boss) parks her Fiat 500 (the Abarth version mind  ) there too. Quite funny seeing that parked next to a massive Lambo. I have also seen a BMW M6 and a DB9 parked down there too, no idea whos they are though, must be some of the stupidly rich traders? Bastards ha ha!

Makes my MK5 seam cheap in comparison.
Mrk V, GTI, 3dr, DSG, heated seats, winter pack, cruise control, rear parking sensors and now thanks to GizzyWizzy and SteveP in the MK6 section a RCD 510. Awesome!
