ok - so a twist on this, how hard is it to convert from a cable to a hydraulic clutch? I kinda suspect mine hasn't much longer to live - not slipping but its done 88k on a single clutch on a GTI. (GL clutch died at 70k)

A lot of work including pedal box and I believe the gearbox is different.
