I reckon its a case of the rear of the spokes.

Like with mk3 and mk4 RX11's.

With standard alloys on my 288mm brakes there is next to no clearance, and i mean no more than 1-2mm.

So with these allloys having rather chunky spokes i reckon thats your problem.

Stick some 5mm spacers on, that dont need to be hubcentric or longer bolts, and you should be ok.

Yep, my spacers were dispatched today so hopefully on Monday I'll have them and be able to have them fitted.
This has annoyed me so much over the last few weeks I hope to God this solves it!!!

What spacers have you gone for?

You said hubcentric which emplies you have gone for big spacers.

Which as wayne said will give you arch clearance problems if lowered, and maybe if not lowered.

I don't plan on lowering it anytime soon (insurance) but if I do it'll only be 30-40mm really. They're 16mm spacers.

Is that 16mm or 8mm each as 16mm will leave the offset really low.

You'd only need 5mm per side / 10mm in total

Although whatever you go for, make sure you buy some for the rear aswell.

I can't stand cars that have the front wheels sticking out more than the rear!
