The issue with running spacers is that you could run into arch clearance probs on the front.

I suppose spacers is the only route I can go at the moment.
I can't take the alloys off and replace them with the cracked ones as no where will do that.
I need the car daily so I cant afford to send the alloys back and wait for a new pair.

Question....
If the wheels are ET35... could the shape of the wheel spokes cause a problem if running on the bigger 288mm brakes???
Could this be a case???
