Chris Knott seem to be the best so far...
£715 for 12months cover on an Ed30 with Sachs Coilovers, Miltek Full System and Bluefin map.

Hmm, having said that...
Greenlight have just emailed @ £572! (I filled in the online quote form detailing mods etc). Might have to call them!

Yep, exactly how it happened with me.

P.S. If you are planning any modifications over the next couple months, it may be worthwhile to get them to include them as of now - because they charge a £25 admin fee if you change the contents of the policy during mid policy.

They covered my remap, full TBE and intake for free - as they say that they have carried out independant research that found that drivers with those modifications (and im sure many others too), did not have a higher chance of crashing - therefore why should they charge more.

Decent company I say!!

i asked (GreenLight) about this about putting mods onto policy before they may be fitted to the car, and they said it would invalidate your policy.

Its a big no no, if theyre not on, dont risk it.

Oh!

Fair enough - I didn't ask them, it just made financial sense to me! I did it, but the car was only insured for about 5 days before the modifications were put on. Didn't really fancy paying £25.

Thanks for clarifying that though Phil :) :)

They are not bothered if the mod is going on the car a week or so after the insurance starts .... any more than that and they are not happy.  That's what I got told when I asked.

I'm middle aged, car garaged overnight, country location, no claims, conviction or speeding, max protected NCB, Businees use for me and spouse, legal assist. Renewal is £336 @ £400 excess from MoreThan.

Did an online quote with MoreThan and for same cover it dropped to £267 + £350 excess, plus I'm entiltled to 20% discount for 2nd year and for every year after if no claims.

I challeneged MoreThan and they said they'd drop my current policy renewal to £296....
New online policies are a promo being run at the moment!!!

Sounds like that ad on TV for mortgage/savings... once your hooked we F**k you for more....
