All turned out fine with the coolant loss, system was pressure tested and no leaks found,  air lock diagnosed and system topped up.

On collection I was advised the oil was low, was on the halfway mark so I bought a litre of oil to top up, they said they'd take care of it for me so we walked out to the car to do it and as soon as the bonnet was pulled I thought to myself something is missing here, it dawned on me the engine cover was missing to which I was told these cars don't come with one, I know it was there as I checked coolant level before I took it to the dealers, it turns out the technician forgot to put it back on, the one they brought out to put on was a TDI cover and I'm sure mine had a GTD cover, can someone with a GTD please look at what cover you have got and let me know plz
