Returned to VW last Thursday and rejected that batch due to dimples. Received a call today that more had arrived and after close inspection have accepted two. They are perfect. Not a dimple to be seen. Thanks to all for your support during this diffcicult time

What a nightmare.

Were there ever the same problems with painted wheels?
Err...no.

When will the penny drop with VW, and they finally decide to stop fitting diamond cut faced wheels in the UK?...they don't last.
They didn't last on the Mk2 16vs, Mk3 Anniversarys, Mk4s, Mk5s, or Mk6s...and what do we have as the two styles of wheels available on the Mk7? Doh.
Looks like the warranty department will be busy for a good few years yet.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.
