if its manual heaters it will be cable operated yeah sorry, i get stuck in a GTI mindset :grin:

could be a blocked matrix then?

it cant be i had both pipes of earlyer and and blow water through it and water flow was fine.

that wont really test it, you need to check the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet hoses

edit: and sometimes that won't even work, if the core is full of gunk and the pressure has burst through the dividing wall in the end tank :undecided:

ah right didnt realise it could do that. how much is it to get a heater matrix changed these days? never had to do one before.

isn't cheap, whole dash needs to come out. It's not so bad as a DIY job though it just takes a long time
