If the air in your inlet tubing is going slowly enough to pick up enough heat to cause a measurable difference in power output.......

........ you need to shut up and put your f*cking foot down to make it move faster.

Induction kits - all marketing and noise.

thats why alanD has the carbon one, cos his car is that heavy and slow his induction picks up loadsa heat     :laugh:

What car do you have?

He has a 8v mk2. Alans car would absolotely destroy your old banger!

I clearly am not that stupid to know that there isn't a chance the air is moving that slow to actually pick up heat. As previously stated, I'm a shallow tw@t and thinks the carbon looks nice  :cool:

Plenty of room for some fake stick on Carbon under there, That place up by West Croydon Station sells it, near the crack house(s) :grin:

hey dunna worry mate, just a bit of friendly banter, i do actually like the mk5 gti, and have driven a few in work so know that there're no slouch.
yours looks nice too from the pic's i've seen
