Carbon is a much better heat shield keeping the air cold inside the intake rather than the steel which will get warm and radiate heat to the air. I doubt it will make much difference, I think my carbon CAI looks nicer lol

Lies !!  I clearly bought it for its better heat shield properties . . .

Leave us Croydonians out of this :D

you always make me chuckle lol. BUT...my steel one stays very cold up until i turn my engine off. then it gets hot because of how hot the engine bay is (heatsoak?)
