whats the best amp to run this sub

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_264367_langId_-1_categoryId_165748

its currently running off a Blaster 500w amp (250rms) but i think it will run better off a known amplifier

I've got a 4 channel JBL GTO 1004e amp that's powering a sub and 2 components, holding up well with good sound and it's still alive after 7 months lol!

To be honest it's a £20 sub,it's never gonna sound good. Why not Save and buy a Decent Sub and amp?

hi,

id go for farenheit (power acoustic) or jbl or pioneer or even alpine. but make sure u get the correct amp 2 run it try this site, www.bassjunkies.com
they ok but if you av an audio shop local then go ther n they might be able 2do you a deal like a package. dont bother with power caps they stupid n for chavs (no offence to anyone on ere)  but ye id go for farenheit cz i got 2 12's in my car runnin 2000watts rms in total n that does sum serious damage & also depends on how you aim the subs if u want ur rear passangers with headaches then face it inwards if you dnt want you boot rattling then face it upwards n if you get rattling sounds then you need to sound deaden it.

sounds like a better idea tbh. your amp atm should be fine, as the sub wont perform much better with a different amp.

i suggest JL audio of you can afford it! or alpine type R if not. vibe blackair's are awesome too.

distortion is due to poor quality normally or a if the system has been poorly setup. or it could be because of mega vibration because of no sound proofing.
