waving and flashing is reserved for old school cars.
There was a cirtian wave that was old school and its two middle fingers down and little finger and next to your thub up :wink:

Yeah I would agree that it should be for older, and rarer cars!

Perhaps what I wrote came out wrong!

I'm all for GTI's flashing / waving to eachother definitely! But I guess it would feel more special if one owned a really really rare car that you only see another one once in a blue moon!

u want to own an old beetle fella your hand is never on the wheel for all the flashing and waves u do  :rolleyes: its best on the way to a show  :laugh:

Iv had several head nods and flashes from aother MK5 drivers and one from a MK2 driver. I got diddly squwat when driving my old MK4.

And they don't get any respect from anyone. Not even other Rover drivers...
