Pics of my mk5 Gti in blue

Hi,

Had my mk5 for a few weeks, got round to getting it tidied up and some pics taken.

Was interested in your thoughts on the blue ? (nothing too harsh please) 

Normally go for black with cars, I wasn't planning on getting one in blue but I haven't seen many Gti's in blue.  I think it's a nice colour, especially close up.

Except for the mf steering wheel and leather, all standard for now.

The blue is ok altought its a little known FACT that black is the fastest colour

Reason you dont see many blue GTIs is because the laser blue was withdrawn from the GTI range after a certain year, cant remember, 06 maybe?

i had this colour on my mkv r32,its shadow blue, pics never do it justice you go to see it in the flesh to apreciate it. i like it

thats not laser blue. Laser blue was discontinued but that blue is or was still available for a mk 5 GTi

carl1, your right. I forgot to say it was shadow blue.

The car is an 06 plate
Thinks it's still being used through some of the vw range, certainly was on a new bug in the showroom.

Oooh look at that nice pearl paint  , shame the black, white, ink blue and red aint even metallic.. you even get metallic paint with an hyundai i10
