Latest Dyno run at JKM

Not much more can be done now unless I start spending money. I did have a quick look at cams, but prices of £500+ put me off seeing as I want to change cars next year.

Oh and another wheel picture

Yeah it does. Goes well will the CF roof and black hellas. My grill is in dire need of a repaint, and I was thinking black again, thoughts?

Are you happy with the dyno result considering you were hoping for 170bhp?

Yes, 170hp without cams or porting and polishing the head is very very optimistic. As Ess_Three said, I might squeeze another 5hp out of a custom remap, but past 170hp I really am looking at cams, porting and higher compression.

Custom remap or a standalone ECU really brings the torque up, all over, with a nice midrange plateau around 160lbft.   This improvement all over in torque output makes the difference that you can really feel, but just so happens to result in ~170bhp peak.  So, although the difference between the custom/standalone and what you have currently is only +5 increase in peak bhp, the peak torque increase is more like +12lbft.  This is without uprated cams, or a ported head, but adding these will go even further.

But then again I'm not keeping this car for more than another year, so I can't justify spending another load of money on top of the wheels I've just bought. Who knows what happens come selling time. I might chicken out and end up keeping it! But I really want 4wd.....

Syncro time maybe?  :lipsrsealed:

I've contemplated a Syncro so many times.
