finally stuck on some cool dust caps. Dad gave them to me a few years ago but cos they are anti theft they had the screws, which my dad had lost. Today I went to the DIY store and bought some new screws and fitted them. They look sweet

Don't worry I check tire pressures often so they will be coming on and off on a weekly basis.

ABF conversion on he horizon 


Called insurers and conversion would cost me one off payment of £140. So before the summer holidays I shall have an ABF under the bonnet

Can I ask what is the point of fitting an ABF.

the 8v is slowly dying, and I've got about 3000 miles to cover during the summer holidays and I'm pretty sure the car wouldn't make it as it is.

+1 even if this is the case I cannot see the point of fitting an ABF, your going to need a lot of parts plus wiring to sort, a lot of work for very little gain plus harder / more expensive to tune.
