it was a 3 and a half hour drive for me! You should of come, was a good day out
Very happy with the figures, it's an 8v so being pretty close to a 16v is an achievement!
Already have polybushes mate, not all over, just the wishbones but it did make a hell of an improvement!

Cost me about £60 on fuel, then I was robbed £20 in the services for early morning breakfast for myself and girlfriend.
I do intend to poly bush the whole lot, but concentrating on engine at the moment. After engine work is complete (which it never will be cos its ever going!) I'll try and get hold of a decent suspension kit as mine will need replacing at some point.
Along with the suspension change I might arb the rest of the front.

My 16v came out as 163bhp :undecided: and 133 at the wheels (which matched my mates VR)

138 @ the fly is *about* the same as a 16v KR, not bad for a 8v tug, but the MK2 16v KR would still eat him for dust

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Don't say that - it darkens my horizons.
