MKV What a car

Hi Guys,

Iv been looking over forum for last few days, i finally managed to pick up a candy white DSG last thursday after 4months of hunting, all i can say is what a car, i hadnt planned on modding it at all but i have the bug quite a it at mo and your posts are very informative, i had 106 quiksilverb4 so u can appreciate the difference. i love this car soooo much!!!

Thanks mate,

Yeah love the car, never knew what i was missing in the 106, just such a great car to cruise and thrash every now and again, although white in this weather has meant iv cleaned it three times since last thursday but so worth it when it sparkles

cheers cookie, i totally agree, took awhile to find it but worth the wait!!! IMO all the colour range is quiet strong, usually you get one dodgy one!!

Congrats mate, its a joyous time every time to drive!

My black car is almost white with salt! I havent cleaned it in a couple of weeks, i will do it next week! haha

Congratulations, the Mk5 GTI is one hell of a car...  by the way, watch out for someone called Hurdy as he might use his Jedi mind tricks to get you to mod your car.  It happenned to me, an innocent Mk5 Edition 30 owner who one day woke up to find his standard car with a Stage 2 remap, host of suspension mods, aftermarket fuel pump, exhaust etc... and be careful as he might send Red Robin to do the job for him.  :evil: :evil:  and then you'ill probably end up with a Quaife LSD too  :grin: :grin: :grin:

cheers guys,

i will take some pics mora after iv cleaned it again!!! iv got 17s on at the mo, which im not in a hurry to replace but wondered if i can put 19s straight on or will i need spacers or to adjust the suspension?
