Yeah, It depends on the company. The new screen I have had fitted is IDENTICAL to the VW one I had before. Only diffrence I can see is that I no longer have a little VW logo in the corner of my glass. Other than that there is no diffrence. You will be able to tell if they replaced it with an OEM by looking for the VW logo, did they use OEM?

hasnt got the stamp either but, it is identical and he actually told me it was the same glass, not sure why it doesnt have the stamp, could be only if brought through VW themselves?! not sure?

Yeah, you have the same as me mate. Its not a OE VW windscreen then. They said the same to me, they even came out with "but its made in the same factory as the VW windscreen sir". I wouldnt worry too much about it, like I said in my other post and you have just said its identical. Might even be tougher than these "soft" VW windscreen everyone is banging on about.

Steve, a replacement windscreen does NOT affect your NCB :)

Deicer spray and rubber scraper only.I always use a dustpan with rubber edge to clear snow from my windows.

Got some de-icer spray stuff but worried it might cause damage to the paintwork as it runs down after wiping. (think it says on the can to wipe off paintwork)
