Bluefin ?
« on: 05 December 2008, 13:50 »
Hi - Ive decided to take the plunge and order the Bluefin remap for the GTi at the new 20% off rate for December as a little xmas present to myself!    - had settled on a Revo map in the near future but this deal seems to be too good to miss and the reviews ive read point to it being a very useful remap.

I want to buy it now but maybe not install it until after the winter and the roads are a bit more driveable - is this possible or does it need to be installed straight away for the superchips warranty etc. Does it matter that there is no RR & before/after tests involved etc?

Also I need new front brake pads - should I just stick with the OEM pads or look at some upgrade (not expensive  - few hundred ! ) to handle the extra power that I hope the remap will deliver!

Any help appreciated!

Thats the beauty of Bluefin... you can install it and remove it as many times as you want, it resets the flash counter.
It takes 20mins to switch maps, so you can even do it each morning if you really wanted to

I would be mighty impressed if you can wait three months without uploading the map.. I for one would have no chance.. You must have a serious amount of patience..
