Suspension Height

I have failed my MOT on one front shock leaking.
I dont know what to replace this with as the car is 31cm from hub nut to arch.
I was thinking about standard 16v shocks from gsf.

Shocks won't matter to the ride height as you will need to swap your springs over.

Ah so its the springs. Are all the shocks at GSF the same then? as for 1.6 8v and 16v
or are they different hardness?
