MK VI launch - we need your mk2

Hello everyone, im a technician for Martins Volkswagen of Basingstoke (Hampshire). We are hosting a showroom launch of the new Golf Mark VI on the evening of Thursday 15th January. We are currently trying to organise to have one or two of all the Mark's from 1-5, as well as the new car on display in our showroom. We're specifically looking for Mark 1-4 in as great condition as possible, especially those cars that are faithful to the original spec and condition, however obviously upgraded cars are also fine (although i probably have to rule out wildly modified ones unfortunatley).

If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be please reply and let me know through the forum, with photos if possible. I would be delighted to hear from you, I would make sure you are well looked after with food and drink too.

i would be interested in putting my car up but its not in showroom condition. Althought with a good clean and polish it does come up a treat. ive got lowered suspension and DTM style backbox, but thats all, standard steel wheels and a quad lamp with crystal clear x-hair headlamps and spot lights. have a look and let me know.

my red gti should be rebuilt by then ( good incentive to get it sorted )

will be 99% standard then, running on BBS rims, standard ride height etc etc

Hi Ben, I'd be up for this too although mine is having a little restoration work done but its almost finished (and its original).  Its a white 16v 5 door.  When would you need to confirm by?

Very interested in all of the above cars, i'll show my dealer principal to see what he likes, i like them all. You would need to be at martins basingstoke by 6.30ish so that we can get cars into showroom. I would need to know asap so that we can arrange and organise who is coming. If you think your car wont be done in time we'll probably need to know a week before the launch date 15th jan.
