leccy windows wont work!

hey there,

can any body out there help?
its getting well hot outside now and im starting to cook! :-[ :-[

if there is anybodyu out there that could look at it for me i would quite happily pay for the service, thanks guys! :D

surely i wont need to take out the whole fuse box?
i kno that the relay switch isnt clicking,
and there is no power goin to the switches and the motors.
what could the problem be? ??? ???

hi mate, where are you based?

Do this.....

take out the centre console which has the leccy window switches in it.

Trace the wires back towards the fuse box and the wires should have a fuse and a relay attached to them and NOT on the fuse box itself. (mine was like that)

Also check the (-) negative brown terminal on the earth pole near the steering colum is it? Could have been pulled out as i dont see why the fuse should blow?

ill report back what i find out tonite, if the relay switch isnt clickin then surely that is the part that needs replacing right?

im guessing the fuse is blown as the switch lights should come on when u turn the ignition. hence no licking ;) 8)

sorry to be a pain dude but what does the actual fuse look like?
