What is that strange parcel?

Below the left rear leght is a foam box, straped on, looks a part of the car, once opened it looks like a motor or something with wires, so i quickly put it back Any ideas what it is? (you can tell I am new at this:)

Does it always sound really noisey? like a hippo on a tractor or is that just mine?

Yep they are all noisy hence the foam box to deaden it down a bit. Yep they all sound like a tractor but if yours sounds like it has a hippo on it there may be something wrong

Yep that's right, the central locking on the mk2 operates using a vacuum system.

If you trink thats noisey, wait till you here electric wing mirrors for a mk2, loud enough to give grannies heart attacks at bus stops
