got a 1.6 mk 2 driver  :'(
just seen a jetta gti down me local scrap yard, think its got 256mm discs, wot will i need to make em fit on my driver??

rears on mine are also drums wot do i need to do rear disc conversion??

hey slug you will need master cylinder from under the bonnet, the whole rear beam assembly (to make it easier cos i think the stub axels are different)  the front hubs, and calipers, caliper carriers (should be on hubs) then new discs and pads.  you would have to take the hubs off the jetta and compare them to yours to make sure they would fit cos there are 90 spec ones (all the same) and ones prior to that ( all different)

yeah they would be ok then (probably) not a difficult job but a bit time consuming

will have a look nxt weekend then, i gotta wheel bearing to change too, think i may just change the hub with one that has an ok bearing lol
