My dad's just booked his car in there for the remap and before and after RR runs so it's good to know he's reputable :afro:

Revo always use the latest map when remapping your car  - so when mine went in even though it had a version of the latest map on there they still updates as the puter said so.

Interested to hear if there has been another recently though...

Thanks for the info lads. I think I'll let it go in and let them do an update if they want to, and if the map gets wiped then I'll just get it put back on again. I've been on to Revo and they'll put it back on no problem. Will report back and let you guys know if there is a new update from VW.

yes all our software is upto date with VAG updates! if you do get an update just go and see your REVO dealer and they'll re-flash the car for you :)

My car is just back from it's service at the VW stealer and the Revo map is still there. They said they checked for recalls but there were none. Happy days. They also put the car on the T&D servicing schedule, having first fobbed me off saying it wasn't possible. I was going to do it myself with the instructions on the sticky in the maintenance section anyway if they wouldn't do it.

Also, even to get the car booked in for a service took a bit of a fight. They were arguing with me that it didn't need a service if the light on the dash hadn't come on! I had to insist that I'd prefer to have an oil change service as the car had done 10,000 miles. Eventually the girl on the phone let me book it in, but only after checking with the service manager if it was OK.

Jeez...what is it with VW stealers!
