Tyre fitting prices

fiver a wheel local for a swapsie, 2 quid for a balance -

no need for new valves if the old ones are working is there?
also no need to balance the rears unless the tyres are shockingly made?

Camskill have a special offer on at the moment on T1-Rs - £32.45, oh plus £4 delivery for one, so £36.45 if I wanted one.  Venture are £41 fitted.

If I want 2 it'll be £64.90, or from Venture £82, but that's fitted and balanced.  From what people have posted early in this thread it's very easy to spend that £17 on getting a pair of tyres fitted, plus there's the inconvenience of dealing with the tyres when they show up at your work or home.

I'll be keeping the money in local businesses with prices as close as that.

which is exactly what i aim to pay when i get mine on too. it's ok for some people that happen to have proxes in their size cheap at a local tyre place, but for me, the only way i can get proxes or any reasonably performance-orientated tyres is getting them from mytyres or camskill and paying a local fitter to slap them on. (not kwik fit or any franchised place as it will be more like 40 than 20)

Tru tings but a lot of the time Camskill is so shockingly cheap that even 10 quid a corner to fit makes them a steal.

I dont find any internet tyre place cheaper than where i get my tyres. buy the time i bought and paid postage and fitting etc its usually about 10 quid more than if i went to the tyre centre and bought them direct from them.
