well I finally picked up my R32 today! Lots of stop start town driving then a quick dart on the motoeway and I'm averaging 24.5 miles per gallon but that will go up as I mainly do motorway miles. That was with some heavy foot driving! Love that noise!

Great to hear!! Make sure your out early sunday morning to enjoy some nice open, traffic free roads

Glad to see the credit crunch missing us in Leeds, well apart from me that is.
More R32 drivers to make me feel that maybe I should have tried harder at school.

JonnyG...what do you think of the recaros?? Comfy or not so comfy? Sat in a type R and the bucket seats in that car have to be the most uncomfortable thing iv ever sat in! I Personally think the Recaros are rather comfortable but obviously people have mixed opinions...look forward to seeing what others think??

So far I've found the Recaros quite comfortable and not too different from the standard seats.  After a two hour journey it felt as though my shoulders were being squeezed forward a bit, but other than that I felt fine with no aches or pains.  They give good support and I am slimmish ...don't know if they would suit people with a very broad back

I have noticed that despite being a 5dr, the Recaros actually tilt forward as if it was a 3 door ?  The backs also don't down tilt backwards anything like as far as the standard seats, so if you have short legs and long arms like me   they may not tilt back enough for you !

They look great but I would'nt have specced tham by choice for the price ... I had to take the spec of the car as it was to get the 5dr DSG in DPB which I really wanted.
