you can buy leather cleaner or you can use a mild detergent, you can get leather cream or hide food which is more expensive than the cream but better for leather, when your applying it,rub it in well and leave it to soak into the leather remove and apply a second layer, make sure you apply it to all the stitching thoroughly.

If its a black leather interior, may I suggest good old fashioned boot polish.
Cherry Blossom,Kiwi etc.

Put it on with a shoe brush them rub vigorously.
You will be amazed at how great it will look.
But make sure you use sparingly and polish up with a duster.
Otherwise your white shirt will turn black.

Trust me,it works really well.
I use Kiwi on tyres, black bumper pieces and mirrors(covers).
Looks better for longer and contain no silicates which leaves that nasty plastic takiness on everything.
I use boot polish on the black sections of my colour concept and it looks and feels great.
Try it on your bumpers and wheel arch covers.
You,ll be amazed.
Its a lot cheaper than all these car interior cleaners

Kiwi is great for exterior trim, but surely you will end up getting black on your clothes if you put kiwi on your seats??!  Even if you let it dry for ages, one hot sunny day and a sweaty back would spell bad news.

I would go for something off here:  http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/interior-c-1.html  e.g. http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/poorboys-leather-stuff-p-245.html
