Since this is a gti forum, did you forget to add that the S3 starts off with more out of the box power than the ED30?

same block, same injectors,same c/r...same engine bar tuning, seeing the same results from cupra's too

Impressive, although those losses to the wheels seem absolutely massive.

256hp at the wheels to a 359.7bhp at the crank works out at a staggering 29% loss.

Headline figures are the ones which everyone will notice though

Blimey.  My K03 GTI puts down 242BHP at the wheels with APR stage 2.  Thats a massive loss as Hurdy has already said.

Edit.  Should add that power to the wheels is all people should look at.  Power at the fly is just for bragging rights.
