nice one may go back to breakers and try that its just that one of the rubber hoses seems to have the same inside diameter both sides(connects to metal water pipe) the other does not but if set up the same on mk3 would be handy if not 21miles to gsf cheers mate

This guy is selling a complete set of hoses for about £39. Not tried them myself so not sure what the quality is like though.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-MK2-GTI-8V-RADIATOR-HOSE-SET-C200_W0QQitemZ190261864745QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item190261864745&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1432|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Or if you're feeling rich then you can also get Samco hoses.

i bought these on ebay and they are fine mate. the ones you dont use now you can keep for when the originals decide to die/ fall off/ blow up / melt etc

ITS A TRAP!
