I would try to get your Oettinger tuner to sort this out and not VW.
I hope it gets solved. I was thinking hard about suspension mods, and even Stage 2 mode (even though my Golf is on finance).
Your Finance company dont mind you heavily modifying the Peskarik??? i would go shouting about it if they dont, after what happened to poor chap with his Seat Cupra the other week. 
We only live once, I'll take my chances. Besides, I've read the contract and there is a separate paragraph about tuning, and given that paragpaph my finance company would not take my car away like that.
Besides, Stage 2 is only a thought. I am pretty happy with Stage 1, if it works out.
Suspension I am changing anyway. And I do spacers.
