Not sure I'd touch it... they want to tweak the DSG software to hammer the box and engine without any hardware upgrades?  Recipe for disaster I'd say  :undecided:

I think the comments about not needing the increased redline and LC on a FWD car without a BT in the linked thread are very valid.

What's the point of knocking hell out of the valves at 7600rpm when there's no power there to be had?
What use is increased RPM on LC if you can't apply it to the road (on an R32 though, it'd be worth it for that alone!!)

Now, if they programmed it to hold gears in manual... I'd have it tomorrow.

I'm not really bothered about the increased rev range, I'm more inclined to lean towards the advantages of the slicker gearchange :wink:
