Never mind, I bought them for myself as everyone says. The performance feature was more the issue for me, rather than bling (for a change)
You cannot be too careful with what wheels you choose as an aftermarket upgrade. Even performance alloys such as OZ are now cast in China and sent to Europe for finishing otherwise I would have probably gone for some Ultraleggera's.
At the pricepoint they are an awesome wheel that I don't have to get too precious about if I kerb them, just buy a replacement and move on
. My plan is to do several trackdays next year including the 'ring and so these wheels are perfect for this use (would have a hissy fit if I'd bought Work VS-XX and kerbed them
)
I hope you can all see beyond the looks alone and see my reasoning behind my ultimate choice
