Just got a years RAC cover for my GTI for £15.50 !

I took out a years RAC cover through a cashback website last week and have recieved my policy today.
RAC have an online discount at the moment - by buying it through a cashback site you get the RAC online price (starting from £33) + £17.50 cashback !

and to think you could have had all-Europe cover from ADAC for only 79 Euros, with no stupid age limits and much more generous cover, as well as someone who says 'what time would you like us to be with you?' rather than 'you'll be lucky if we turn up'.

The RAC are pretty good in my experience although I do have full cover. Only one poor experience when the hero patrol man said my golf is to low to pu on the dolly, so I put it on the dolly for him!

The RAC have been really good for me too! My immobiliser failed and I couldn't move it, they were here within the hour, but couldn't tow it home so had to have it on a lowloader that came within 20 mins!

Also he said with mine not actually being a GTI it would cost me £150, but he said they would never no so he fibbed for me to get it for free!!

 

TBH they're all really nice and non threatening for a female on there own.

Have to say I think RAC are cool.

Only ever broken down twice; once was me being silly and running out of petrol, came within 15 minutes with a can and I was on my way.
Second time wasn't so easy; going over to watch a film with my g/f and the rents and the engine on his 4x4 blew leaving us inbetween 2 junctions on the A14 in thick fog, they got the police to come out and assist until the lowloader turned up and took us home!

Either way you can't beat £15.50 a year.. I pay £7.50 a month for 2 policies, which I think is pretty fair still.

Yes.

If you call them out in the UK then an AA patrol turns out.

And there's no stupid clauses like the AA and RAC have.
