Just had some Goodyears fitted to the front of mine.  I'm on my third set of fronts now and the cars only done 16k!  Last two pairs both Conti 2's.  Asked for GY Assem's but they fitted GSD3's.  Are these any good?  Didn't notice until afterwards as didn't realise the difference in tread pattern until I looked it up!  I definately think the conti's wear prematurely.  8k out of a front set is cack and I don't think I'm a particularly hard driver, although I hardly do any MW miles, all town/country.

Have recently bought a pair of vredestein sessantas and am very pleased. Quiet with loads of grip in the wet and dry.  Came a close second in the evo trials.
MK5 GTI, manual, silver, dirty pipes.
