It is so annoying. I have everything in a folder including every mot, every tax disc, and the oringinal invoice for the car from a dealers! (£7325)

some how i have lost it when i taxed the car last time. Its killing me.

Really struggling with those websites. I put in my details for the MOT i had, and it says there are MOTs outstanding, but doesnt say when they expire

Ed

I would have thought that means u havent got a mot it expired? does it show the history of you mots?

if i remember from my MOTing day's you can call into any MOT station and they will do you a replacment copy , you don't need them any more though as it is all computerised (apart from for your record's)

Why don't you just put your car in for a new MOT? You said you think it expires in December anyway.

i work in a mot station and if you go to any m.o.t station give them the reg they can print of a duplicate copy which would cost proberly 10 or 15 quid if it still has an m.ot as they are all linked together noww they are computerised, we get a lot of customers who lose there certificates!

Ah cheers, thats helpful.

the reason is, I am at uni in sheffield, but i want to get it MOT'd at particular garage in Northampton, and i need to plan when i can go home next, juggling uni commitments.
