Mk3 Engine Mounts - Solid or not

I'm looking to replace the engine mounts on my Mk3 16v track car. They are all a bit past their best.

Has anyone got any recommendations. I've read a bit about fitting a solid front one and leave the other two standard.

I’ve done this with good results using a machined aluminum block type mount although I’m sure that if you dismantle the standard item removing the necessary material you can weld it thus making a solid mount. If that all sound too much then get a vibratech’s item
