first off congrats illyun on the new arrival , youre a lucky man
hope all are doing well.
As far as remaps go
APR / REVO / GIAC / Superchips / Custom Code
seem popular.
Aftermarket service
Ability to tweak (REVO select switch settings)
Cruise control (APR use this for map switch)
Switchability to stock (or stock like mode)
etc
If you want a Sat you are going to have to book a couple of weeks in advance I reckon.
And ask for before and after RR graphs!
From 'history' fact or not , I believe the first gen APR ED30 map was Oettinger, but then they mapped Gaz's car , so its now APR's work fully.
Power wise I dont see any diff between APR and REVO tbh
I have a manual ED30 , but if I had DSG I reckon given the torque issue I would seriously consider Hurdys Custom Code remap , which would allow them to reduce the 'hit' at low rpm and possibly protect your clutch plates.
I Know vtec has had no problems but if it was my DSG ED30 , it would be worth thinking about , whereas on a manual I wouldnt be so bothered.
just imho of course
