Auto locking door's
« on: 10 November 2008, 04:35 »
Hey ,

I have been looking in my manual to get the doors to lock once my car goes above 15mph but i cannot seem to get it to work. Did this come as part of a pack which was optional extra or can i set it even in a standard GTI? its doing my head in.

Thanks Graeme

You need someone with Vag-com to enable that feature. Its in the cars Bios as it were but not accessable even if you have the highline dash

computer, or ask your Stealer to enable it when nxt in the garage.

Pretty sure that you can turn it on with the highline comp. Will check today.

Hi,

I went into the dealer the other day whilst getting some work done and they can do pretty much what ever u want with electric setup. I had mine altered and it now locks all the doors over 5mph. The dealer does it for £10 but u can prob get them to do it for free if ur already getting other work done!

Mark.
Looking for a new GTI!!!
