decided to upgrade my 2001 2.0 gti,am looking at getting an anniversary model or 1.8t ,which do you think i should go for?, i`m having great difficulty locating an anniversary model if anybody knows where one is please let me know, cheers gti89

its all about cost , the anni would be the way to go. as for finding one they are out there its just a case of finding one and finding a good one..

an anniversary would definitely better, and are usually better looked after. Very rarely see any for sale, and expect to pay 15-16k
Thats not far off 2nd hand R32 money

yeh for like 15 16 k surely you could also consider a r32?
infact your only consideration should be an r32, pisses over the aniversary in every way

managed to look on the volkswagen dealer list could only find one and that was 17,000. can stretch to 16,000, local dealer has 1.8t 3 door 8000 miles 53 reg 14,750pounds i`m quite tempted. looked at r32`s but for what i want looking at least 20,000
