Anyone know where I can get a weber carb setup in essex? Mine is a right ass whenever I start it at the moment!


Really want to get a GTI purely for the fuel injection but i cant afford the car and the extra insurance at christmas :angry:

My so called Piersh!t is perfect  :tongue: and not giving me any grief

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Haha wasnt my choice to put on a weber! Was on there when I brought the car.

My local VW/Audi specialist said that its better to fix a pierberg than get a weber too :rolleyes: (although hes got a mk2 gti aswell so what would he know!)

Mine has still go tthe original carb on, 1991, 125000 miles! Still OK!  :smug:

take them off and stick some R1 bike carb's on using a manifold made by bogg brothers in yorkshire :)

they never go out of tune and make Sooooo much noise LOL
