no transplants Dave, traded all bits in with 16v for my new baby.... ;D

she is gorgeous, but not too sure abnout the gold in the middle of the split rims? quite fancy them being all silver or chromed? anybody know if that's a straightforward process?

It's not too hard at all - if you have the cash and can get them done professionally, then that would be best, but a full refurb could cost a few hundred quid.

If you can spray yourself then, get them sandblasted at 10-15 quid a wheel and the rest of the expenspence is up to how thorough you want to be.

There will be a difference in the quality of finish, but depends on if the wallet can stretch!

Or flog them on eBay as 'Rare gold BBS Wheels', get a packet for them and buy another set .. some mug will pay up to ?400 the moment the word 'rare' is in there  ;D

you should have done a swap on some normal rm's with the supergolf dude :)

would need to take them apart to get them sprayed or polished. not that many places want to take the job on, it's not as easy as it appears!

I'd swap them for theose gorgeous shiny TT alloys that were on that golf in the car park at inters...think it made it into this issue of the golf as well.....dribble
