I'm still debating the side CF inserts. Mind you, they must save a massive amount of weight over standard inserts

They will sit further in than they are in the picture as I just sat them over the original ones. The only other option I thought of was spraying the standard ones silver to match the brushed aluminium trim

I think you need to take the standard inserts out to get to the fixings for the ashtray don't you?

you have a point with the weight saving gains. Id expect a 0.0000000000001 of a second improvement in your 0-60 dash  .

Keep going John , your hit sub 5 seconds in a few years with all these weight saving idea's

i like the carbon around the top on the gaitor.. not sure about the sides.
