ok.. so standing looking directly at the engine bay.. the one in question leaves right out the back of the inlet manifold, right off into the bulkhead..

if so mine is fairly frayed, and has some zip tie on it.. then disappears off into the bulkhead

but i cant see how to follow it further easily...  how do i get in there?

You have to take out the plastic tray above the pollen filter and ECU. There is a rubber strip first that just pulls off then you have to be careful getting the end of the plastric tray out from the bonnet hinge! I broke mine doing this!
You may have enough space to just lift the tray once you have pulled off the rubber strip so try that first!
The pipe goes to the ECU which is roughly in the middle.

after looking around on the interwebs i found that the "00519" can also be solved by swapping out the ECU relay

so i did that quickly.. and went for a quick rag.. no problem so far.. but time will tell..

got some vac tubing too..

just replace the tubing, i replaced the relay weeks before i replace the tubing, i thought the problem went but as it was a desquised intermittant fault, it just came back when i was on a long journey again..
as soon as the pipe was replaced the fault has never appeared again and the engine now runs sweet as a nut.

havent put my laptop back on it yet either..

I'm getting this problem on my 2.0 16v too.

I want to buy a replacement pipe, where did you get yours?
