Just a short note from all at Prosport to say thanks for an enjoyable and interesting day.

Thanks also to Gaz for his organisation.

Hope to see all of you again in the future.

Have read that one or two of the figures seem a little 'out landish' and taking this on board, will have a chat with Peter tomorrow and get back to you.

In the mean time - take care

Cheers - Andy

cheers Andy,  top day all round, little things like being able to make a brew make a massive difference, and some grub really helps

I do think some of the 'strange' results were down to the dsg box, as a lot of the the other results were as as expected, one of the best RR days I've been to because of the friendly atmosphere so thanx again, and sure I'll see you soon

first iwould like to thank gaz for organizing a top day and thanks to the boys at prosport .

As for the power my car made i was as surprised as anyone  i  predicted it would do about 230  i got it from new its been run  in properly always run on v-power  but 260 i would say is 20 to 30 bhp over what it making need to get it on another dyno to find out

If the Edition 30's are anything at all like Leon Cupra's which they are

They all make at least 260hp as stock, seen it all over the place so its not just restricted to Prosport.

Thanks Gary for the organising, Prosport lay on a friendly day and the figures on manual cars at least are pretty damn straight based on what i've seen.

I really under estimated my figures because I really didn't know what to expect, I knew it had done 316 last time and 305 at Awesome.  Wasn't really looking for big figures on Saturday, just to see a change based on the fact I have added an APR IC and Dbilas intake in only the last few days.

Did some vagcom logging today and based on the runs I managed this afternoon the air mass indicates i'm pushing about 315-320hp but that's only a rough guide really.  Back at Awesome next weekend with our SCN vs UKMKIVs event.  I expect to see lower hp figures than Prosport based on the data I have seen before.

Overall though good day and friendly crowd, glad I tagged along.

relative numbers is one thing , absolute well thats another

My std ED30 running 99RON fuel has ran twice on different occasions at Awesome and posted 255 flywheel.
So I'm inclined to believe it as ballpark for a std car (for these dynos at least , JKM ran 237 for Phils so the absolute number is still in question as with all of these dyno results)

bacillus , you found an issue ! crikey youll be up at 350 bhp next

....Are you claiming that all Ed30's make at least 260hp as stock?

Nope i'm saying Leon Cupra's do, but they do share a great deal in common.  :smug:

RR's are just tools at the end of the day, if your really really bothered about accuracy whip your engine out and attach it to a bench dyno.

My theory of them all reading 30bhp approx would come true.It would also make the DSG answer questionable aswell. Stock Ed30's DO NOT  produce

260bhp!!!. Absolute Rubbish. I would think the same goes for the Cupra. After all its the same???

Golfgirls Ed30 was run and pulled 260bhp on a set of rollers at awesome was it?? cant remember, then came down south to JKM and produced .5bhp over

stock 227bhp!!!. running on BP 98 octane. Mine Ran 233bhp and then 236bhp on Vpower and then Tesco's 99 respectively.

Now if thats not saying something??? .GolfGirl do you have the 1st RR graph??? so it can be compared??
