Bought one of these in April. http://www.tagheuer.com/the-collection/aquaracer/man/quartz-chronograph/index.lbl?w=CAF1112.BA0803

Nice watch BTW.

I bought pads from GSF for my MK4, fitted them myself.

I have it booked in with VW this Saturday, so they'll just be the standard ones.

They are quoting me:

Front £141.80

Rear £108.72

Inclusive of fitting, VAT etc.

Does that sound right?

They also said there's a recall on GTI's, they need to check the "engine control thingy" (the lady I spoke to's words not mine), what is that all about then?

Can someone let me know if these prices are ok?  I don't want to find out they are bumming me in the gob with that quote

I'll cancel my booking with them and go elsewhere is that's the case...

I wouldn't have a clue how to do it myself and wouldn't want to take the risk of cocking it up.  If I have no car, I can't get to work so it's just not something I'm prepared to risk.  But yes, I thought it seemed a tad expensive but even if I bought the pads I don't know anyone who would be able to do it.  Catch 22....
