This really is a great idea. I have been running the golf solely on optimax for close to a year now, and when I use my SAAB it will get anything cheap as long as its not BP or ESSO.

Im only a contractor out to BP, sometimes i get contracted out to shell at stanlow, so as long as you buy BP or shell then im a happy bunny  . We cleaned out the Optimax lines about a month ago on the last shutdown so the fuel batch coming through now should be extra clean.   .

BP supply Sainsbury, and I've got a feeling Esso are in contract with Tesco at the moment so that aleviates one of the issues with supermarket fuel

its all well blaming the govenment about fuel tax, i agree they take the lions share of the fuel cost. but whenever the price of a barrel of oil goes up the oil companys seems eager to put up fuel prices, but they dont seem to be as quick to lower them again when the price of oil falls again
