I've got a R plate 8v mk3 GTi, and my insurance is up for renewal next month.
I've got a quote from elephant of £353 for a full 12 month policy, with a £400 total excess, fully comp. Protected NCB (5 Years), Personal Injury cover and all the other standard benefits. My GF is also a named driver. I've had my licence 5 years, GF has had hers 6.
I'm 23 (as is she) and been involved in a few prangs, but not for a long time. (Elephant only ask for last 3 years).
I would be looking to pay for it monthly if poss.
Can you give me an idea if you can beat it?
